The most common barrier I encounter when creating street photography work is location access. Rarely do I have a photography session that isn’t met with security resistance in various parking structures and plazas around the city.
This particular spot was just off of Regent Street on a hot July afternoon. Being forced to leave was off-putting, as I wasn’t more than 10 yards from the street. What the security guard didn’t know that by kicking me out, he set himself up to be my next subject in front of my lens. The security guard’s reward for ejecting me - being cemented in this gallery.
