Living in a desert means every storm is cause for celebration and gives way to explore an environment blanketed in a new appearance. While my internal instinct is to stay inside and enjoy the ambience within shelter, my observational instinct in photography pulls me outside.
While wandering the streets, I noticed the light of a local psychiatry office flicker on. The warm luminescence of the office was blanketed by the cool air and concrete. As a building that never caught my attention during the day, it spoke to me in a way that no structure has before.
